A fascination for wine, from working in the vineyards to seeing our customers enjoying a good bottle, has driven and motivated our family for four generations now. Wine is a product of nature, and is made by people for people This is what distinguishes it from many classic consumer products and what makes it so special for us. We feel that it is our duty to select the wine producers and wines for our range conscientiously. We focus on the quality, price and personalities of the wines and their producers, rather than being dazzled by major appellations and fine-sounding names. Our range covers a mixture of small, innovative vintners, internationally renowned top producers and efficient larger wine cellars who are also able to produce high-quality wines in larger quantities. A series of Italian wine cooperatives, for example, to which a large number of affiliated vintner families hand over their grapes for processing, supply wines that are often excellent value for money. Our own brands are also an increasingly important part of our portfolio. These give us the opportunity to select the best wines from the most efficient producers each year without our customers needing to get used to new labels.
